Our Staff All staff are familiar with child protection procedures and we have a 'named person' in charge of child protection (see Child Protection Policy). All staff are qualified to level 3 in childcare and attend ongoing training sessions. There is a wide range of staff from the young, newly-qualified to the more mature who have grown-up families of their own. Staff turnover is low; several staff have been with us for many years, providing a huge amount of experienced care for your child. Qualified first-aiders are on duty daily. All staff are registered with OFSTED and are police checked. High staff ratios are maintained at all times to meet OFSTED requirements.

A key worker system is in place throughout the nursery, ensuring each child’s individual needs are catered for. Special Needs children are welcomed and key staff have Special Needs training. We have a Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator, who will liaise with the parent/carer and outside agencies to provide the best start for your child. Students studying childcare are welcomed but are never given sole responsibility for the children or left unsupervised at any time.

The nursery is divided into four sections (when children move into each new section, regard is given to their stage of development rather than their age). Siblings have the opportunity to visit one another regularly. Larger groups are formed for special events, activities and celebrations.

A huge thank you for taking such good care of Hugo and helping to mould him into the beautiful young boy that he has become. We could not have picked a better nursery and such amazing staff.
